David & Annette Hunt came upon the wine business more by chance than anything premeditated.

On 1 January 2011, Skov Winery was born, bringing with it fantastic Santa Cruz Mountain Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot and Zinfandel.

"Skov"(Sk), meaning "Forest" in Danish, was created to tie the various family attributes of Annette's Danish background and our long time wine making home in the redwoods of the Santa Cruz Mountains.
